I don't think the fans are - maybe the students? A lot of the younger ones have really only known extreme success. When I was at Clemson we would at least wait until we were being blown out by UNC or NC State before we would head to the tailgates for some relief. We even stayed the whole game against Marshall in hopes we could have pulled it out.

Those fans who suffered in the wilderness appreciate each and every win.
