I watched most of their game on Saturday (I know it was only Howard) however, they looked really good.
The return their entire offense and defense and will be a good test. There is a reason Vegas has dropped the line to -17.
I still think we win and cover, however, if people think this will be a 55-10 type game they will be mistaken.

Not the whole offense and defense ... just 10 starters on each. 
I like our discipline this year. The guys seem to be better focused. Having a solid off-season S&C program for a change appears to have made a big difference, too.

It won't be close. The biggest advance in a football team is between 1 and 2 , ASU isn't big boy football .

No offense taken at all. We're a better team now than in the FCS national championship years IMO. Still, there's a reason we're in the SunBelt and not the SEC. The vast majority of App fans know the score pretty well. Like all fan bases we've got those who think we're world beaters and those who think we're the worst ever.
I'm looking forward to my first trip to Death Valley since the Panthers used it as their home stadium ... 20 years ago (ouch!).

I must admit that was one of the best games I've ever attended! Watching 107,000+ people go completely silent while 2,000 hillbillies went crazy on rows 90-96 of the stadium was beyond priceless.
You should have seen the looks on their faces as they asked us questions like, "Where is Appalachian State anyway?"

Realize that most teams in the Big Ten are not athletic. ASU could probably play well against most Big Ten schools today. Clemson is probably a different story.
