Anybody remember how excited we all were to

Jan 9, 2013, 10:45 AM

get this class and we thought we would win the national championship the next year.

And now we all expect to get this every year.

TDP and the facilities upgrades have really made a HUGE difference. As well as other things.

Rendrick Taylor......wow, I'd almost forgotten about him.

Man was a physical specimen, but unfortunately the injuries piled up for him. I remember in the Spring Game one year (think maybe his fresh or soph year) he took a screen pass like 95 yds for a TD.

yeah I remember that

sad that his best play ever was in practice. I hope he is doing well.

Extreme physical specimen with constant injuries...

Wondering what folks would say about him if he was a Gamecock...

That's easy....."Time for lockdown, get in your cell!"

;)

I've often thought it but I haven't said anything.***

It's sad how few of those 4-star guys from '05 panned out. I'd say James Davis and Chris Chancellor did, and that's about it.

Surprising how Grisham and Humphries were both two stars. Grisham had great hands and Humphries has really become a weapon of choice.

Kavell Conner, the 2* that now starts for the Colts

Jan 9, 2013, 10:58 AM

He was very underrated his senior year at Clemson.

Only James Davis and Sammy Watkins stand out...

Jan 9, 2013, 10:59 AM

It's interesting how many of the best players from both of those classes were 2 or 3 star guys: Thomas Austin, Kavell Conner, Barry Humphries, Phillip Merling, Adam Humpries, etc.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

got an awful lot of value from those classes***
