this took a big chunk of our offense away from us and really seemed to fluster bryant. I can't help but think Bud Foster will be taking notes on this.

Yeah the receivers need to block better on those and Bryant needs to get the ball to the receivers more accurately and with more velocity on the ball

IMO, KB is not throwing the ball direct and fast enough on the screen.. He's floating it with a lot of air under the ball allowing the defender to get through the block and to the receiver quicker. I see that on the deep balls sometimes too.

Each time he was overpowered and pushed back into the intended receiver. I watched It happen three times, and it didn't help that KB's passes were high and lacked zip.

I thought it was strange how many deep passes we attempted when they were blitzing. We need shorter routes in blitzing situations.

Screens all year have gotten blown up. I don't think we've had a successful screen play yet and they are doomed for a pick 6 eventually. Not sure what the solution is between poor passes poor blocking and the defense keying on them from the snap but they've got to get away from throwing them. This is not the team that can screen an opponent to death like Boyd and Sammy against ohio st in the orange bowl.
