America needs to let them play...

America needs college and high school football. America needs marching bands, cheerleaders, mascots cutting up having fun. America needs competitive community rivalry. America needs smoke from a grill filling the air, hovering over the turf and stadium, like a protective barrier from the craziness of the world.

America needs reason to boil peanuts. America needs smack talk from both sides of the cities, counties and states of those defending their Alma mater. America needs side games of football in the stadiums of youngsters dreaming of their chance to one day play on the big boy field. America needs tailgates, RV's, corn hole games, flat screen TV's, hot wings on the grill and the sound of Honda generators humming in the distance. America needs two bits, four bits, six bits a dollar. America needs good reason to HOLLER!

America needs halftime shows and marching bands. America needs military flyovers and the Star Spangled Banner. America needs to wave Old Glory. America needs pep rally's and fight songs. America needs stadium lights, Monday morning water cooler talk, post-game call-in shows and broadcasters promoting small business, promoting community spirit and recognition of hard work. America needs Game Day, "Not so fast my friend!" America needs the Walk of Champions, Tiger Walk and tradition. America needs purpose. America needs football. America needs to remember...... they're just kids who want to play. Let them........ #WeWantToPlay

Well, you got the first sentence correct.
Where you missed the boat is even if they do play,there will be no tailgating,marching bands,or fans in the stands to holler.
And if you think the Flag,and the Anthem mean anything,check out the pros.
So boil your peanuts,turn on your flat screen,and be prepared to watch highlights of the past College football season because from the looks of it,they ain't going to play.
Oh,but if they do,make certain to maintain that social distance at the water cooler on Monday.
