Monte said last night that he would check with Alex and see how he felt. Said he was going to go with the best arm he has available. I guess Alex feels capable. 2.5 days rest isn't ideal but hopefully we can get a few quick innings out of him.

will tell a coach he is good to go. THAT is why he is an athlete. He competes and WANTS the ball! It is the coach who has to use the common sense. Hope they limit him severly as far as pitches
