Alabama vs Clemson Ranking

Why should Alabama be ranked ahead of Clemson? Using the just released rankings, Alabama has beaten the number 15 & 25 ranked teams while losing to number 22. Clemson has beaten two teams ranked higher than Alabama's best win (number 4 & 14) and has no loss. Seems pretty straight forward to me why Clemson is number one.

loss was such a fluke, it doesn't really count. Do you think if the coots somehow beat us, it will be considered a fluke and not count against us?
