If Winston is indited this coming week and then suspended by FSU. Would the ACC void their wins? Would this be done prior to the ACC Championship. I would think there might be some pressure to do that from the other schools as it could greatly change the participants in the Championship
game in both divisions!

What would we be saying about the coots if they hung an SEC East banner last year if they tied UGA but UGA held the tiebreaker?
What would we say about the coots if they hung a banner this year with UGA beating them yet through some freak occurrence the conference had UGA drop some games so coots backdoor into a conference Champ game?
We would be laughing at them for years
You settle it on the field and FSU spanked Clemson at home and the QB was legit at the time. If he is charged they will drop him quickly and with a backup playing the rest of the way. They will probably still breeze through a weak coastal Champ and into the nat champ game

when so little is known? It seems like every third or fourth board post asks a similar question.
Besides the tone that many writers have set suggesting the police and state's attorney/DA have been slow to act, what else is there? Any witnesses? Anyone yet made public who will corroborate the accuser's story?
It's way too early to try and draw any conclusion. The process needs to play out further yet.
Just my humble opinion.

I am not voicing an opinion on Winston or trying to devise a scenario where we can back into the ACCCG. But consider that the ACC has done some weird things in the past (all you have to do is look at what they gave us post Ford) and considering the money that could change hand if the deck were to be be reshuffeled and it raises a lot of what if's!

That's a good question.
If FSU is forced to forfeit their wins,does Clemson then play in the ACCCG?
What if the District Attorney waits till after the ACCCG
to indite,then does FSU not get to play in the NC(provided they win the ACCCG)?
Of course,another scenario could involve only Winston.After all, he was "technically" innocent while all of this was unfolding.And why penelize the team?
So the D.A could indite,the NCAA could suspend him from that point on with no consequences falling on the team other than not having him for the Bowl season.

Committed a crime related to football (steroids, payed to go there, etc.). He himself can get suspended if he is convicted of a crime, but unless it was a crime that gave them an illegal advantage over the other team (steroids, paying off refs, etc.), I think the team isn't punished, just the individual.
