Both Jimbo and the Chad will be trying to prove themselves this year, but I feel since Chad missed on the a&m job and causing him to leave the state of Texas again ain’t sitting well with him. I don’t know if this is the case, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Chad tries to make a statement to the school that passed on him

I said I didn’t know if this is the cas, but it’s been debated on Tnet whether Chad would get the A&m job or not. Just an arbitrary thought to add to the recent discussions. No need for attack.

Chad wanted the A&M job. Worse part for him if he had stayed here he would have a national championship and would likely have gotten the job.

Thanks 92! I was thinking the same thing. He will do well enough at Arkansas to gain more exposure IMO, but the A&M ship sailed. Unless he hands Jimbo some huge loses and we all know how that turns out for Jimbo

Kind of dismissing the work of Elliot and Scott to say he’d have a natty. Who knows how those games would have gone with a different man calling the plays.

Yes he was so anxious to go back out west that he just jumped at the first open job. Good lesson for our current coaches to be patient and wait for the right opportunity.
