7-4 against top 10.

I get how it happens. 2 solid pitchers, some breaks in the other games..
But think about that.. what if I told you Dabo's teams would play 11 top 10 teams over the next 3 years, road games included, and would go 7-4. Though you might not love it, you'd still take it and be pleased.
How about Brownell doing the same over 2 years in hoops.. you'd be stoked.
Interesting how tiger fans view Jack and this baseball season... myself included.

They hurt our seeding, but nothing else. We still made the tournament. No matter what our seed is, we would have to play good teams to advance. Anything can happen, but losses on Tuesday and Wednesday mean nothing right now.

several ways to take the fact that jackleg is 7-4 against top 10 teams. why can't we play that way more often, means talent was not the problem, and why did we lose to so many inferior teams? makes you wonder huh?

only in the sense that the same things that cost us those games, i believe to be quality pitching depth, will crop back up by games 3 and 4 of tourney weekend play.
Hoping for some good surprises, but Crownover and Erwin must win, then hope we can hang on.

I think the angst about Brownell and Leggett is more directed to their performance against the
Bottom Ten
as opposed to the Top Ten.
You know, Winthrop, Wofford, Gardner-Webb, and all the other historical dynasties of the now-defunct DIII.

If we lose to wofford i don't care what our record against top 10 teams will be I would be along with everyone else saying unpleased things about Dabo.
