So you think it’s strange that a game between Clemson and Wake that had resulted in a combine score of 115-6 in the previous two years drew less viewers in the same time slot as LSU vs Texas in the prior year? Please tell us what you think the drop in viewers means?

LOL.

So is this a serious question as to why a game with 34 point favorite in Clemson playing against Wake with no fans present would have much fewer viewers than Auburn vs Oregon last year which went all the way to the final second?

I would also imagine that many fans of Big10 and PAC12 teams haven’t exactly been motivated to watch games in a season their teams aren’t currently taking part in.

Here’s your explanation- Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.... did not tune in because the Big10 wasn’t going to play in 2020. It’s not rocket science.

The game in that time slot last year was #6 LSU vs #9 Texas.

Even with fewer viewers, ABC and the Clemson - WF game was #1 in the time slots (30 minute intervaks) from 8 PM through 11 PM. I'm sure most were from SC, GA and AL. SC for the Clemson fans, GA wanting to see a fairly recent NC since it's been 40 years, and AL because they are still in shock from 44 - 16.
