2020 Recruiting and Mickey show

Heard listening on the radio this morning that Clemson is heavily involved in 40 of the rivals top 100 players.

If we sign half of those my goodness that class will be unreal given the player development strengths of our coaches.

I’m not a recruiting insider by any stretch but just 5 stars alone we are involved with close to 10-12 I think. This class will be crazy good.

ESPN pushed the SEC at the onset of the SEC Network which happened during the BCS era. Year after year we heard and read about SEC this and SEC that. Saban lived off top talent. 5 star players were in line to get an offer from Saban and basically ole Unsaint Nick selected them while Dabo was beating the brush trying to flush one out.

Now Clemson is on top and this isn't like two years ago when all our top offensive weapons were going pro. This is a new world for ESPN. It's impossible for anyone to claim Clemson will have a drop in talent with all our Olinemen being Seniors with a few 4-5 star underclassmen in the three deep and all our superstar talent skilled players being here for no less than two more years.

After taking the #1 player from five different states, including a few from states with top ten ranked teams last year, I believe it's fairly obvious, we have replaced displaced Bama as the top recruiting power in football.

I don't know how many we will get but I can assure you, if Dabo wants them they'll sign with Clemson.

Agree 1988!! And getting the #1 player from 5 different states is almost - if not totally - unheard of. And the best part - to me - is Dabo gets the right kind of players!

I thought it was 6 different states. NC, SC, GA, Alabama, Ohio and Florida.
