Recently read an interesting article from just before ACC media days about revising the divisions due to television and new members.
Any poster can google the subject and the story comes up, but herein is my perspective.
Put Clemson and all the original members in a “legacy” type division, but don’t use the name! Add Notre Dame as a full member to provide strength. Ga. Tech as a member of long standing would be included.
Everybody else from the “Big East” schools along with either Navy or West Virginia would comprise the other division.
Have seven division games and a cross rival or go to nine conference games and have two opposite division games each year. Those schools with rival games such as Clemson, The Va. schools, Georgia and Kentucky programs would have seven home games by arranged schedules or financially it would not be feasible. I believe Clemson and FSU could be cross rivals.
What is your arrangement? Super conferences are likely ahead so the ACC could make the first move with their network.
