2019 Lounge NASCAR Challenge - Rules Package

As always... pick a primary and an alternate driver each week. A new post will be posted and pinned each Monday with each weeks race. If your primary driver wins, you earn 51 bonus points. If your alternate driver wins, you earn 11 bonus points.

Point breakdown:

# Drivers Each Race + 1 - Position Finished = Points Earned

40 Drivers - 1st Place = 40 Points Earned

40 Drivers - 30th Place = 11 Points Earned

40 Drivers - 40th Place = 1 Point Earned

At the end of the regular season, the driver with the most points will earn 150 bonus points to head into the playoffs, along with points based on their regular season standing

1st: 16 points
2nd: 15 points
...
15th: 2 points
16th: 1 point

At the end of every third race in the playoffs, four participants will be eliminated from the competition. The final race at Homestead will include four participants and the participant with the most points at the end will win.

As in previous years, the top three drivers will earn various levels of membership to TigerNet.

I miss the days when I cared about NASCAR

even got 2nd in the challenge one year.

I won't bore with my connections to the sport as a kid.

I also won't bother you with having to keep up with my entries for 2-3 weeks only to drop out.

Thanks for continuing this tradition though. I know it's a thankless job.

Its slowly dying

Less people participate each year. Not sure if its because of how its run, or if its just because the sport itself is slowly dying off because the France family is running it into the ground.
