2018 PWO Hutton Reed Does not choose clemson

The 5'11 PWO, Sharpshooting Point Guard out of Birmingham, Alabama had his list cut down to just three schools, Alabama, Auburn, and Clemson. Despite having the opportunity to re-unite with his former high school teammates Scott Spencer and Aamir Simms, Reed stuck to his roots and choose to play for Bruce Pearl at Auburn. Brad Brownell said he 'was not surprised' and believes that Reed could have a good college career.

At the end of the day, I do not believe we needed him at all, I do not believe he is good enough to CONSISTENTLY play at an elite level here at Clemson, I've followed this kid because he comes out of my area, and this really doesn't hurt us.
