Deon Cain was going to have a huge game against OU. Then the news broke that he was suspended. This team seems focused, I hope there is no repeat of that whole scenario. Could’ve really used Cain against Alabama that year.

We could have used Lakip to boot some balls through the endzone as well. I believe our kickoff team was a major factor in that game.

Also Lawson (injured), Alexander (injured during game).

With those 3, we win back to back imo.

That was an awesome season. But the long stretch of games without a bye-week was just too much at the end of the year. Got bit by the injury bug too.

The injury bug was pretty bad that year. We lacked real depth at the time and it showed with the loss of Lawson and Alexander. The Backups weren't terrible but had to play more than they needed to. It seems that the D-backs quit talking to each other when Alexander left the game. He made a big difference in our secondary. Had he not gotten hurt I believe that games ends up with us winning comfortably.
