A new head one to be exact. He hasn't replaced the ones he's lost with quality coaches. It's really pathetic that Clemson baseball has stooped from being a contender year in and year out to a door mat.

because of Jack Leggett, then explain to me why Clate Schmidt who was projected to be a first-round pick in last year's draft didn't even talk to pro teams in order to come to Clemson. And, oh by the way, he's NOT from SC. In Saturday's game, he pitched 2 and 2/3 innings, giving up 3 hits, no runs, no walks and striking out 3. Pretty good debut.

We are two games, count them, two games into the season and you're ready to push the panic button and fire the coaches. What a joke. Leggett has his style and is a proven winner. His assistants are extremely capable coaches. Go back to chasing 17-year-old football players and leave baseball alone.

Your cousing didn't qualify academically. Stop hating on Clemson. Players love Jack Leggett. It would be impossible to be as successful as he's been for so long if players hated him.

We are starting the patented "Leggett Swoon" earlier than usual.
Sad thing about that is instead of running out of gas in the regionals or supers like usual we will run out of gas late in the regular season.

A lot of coaches in the nation wish they could run out of gas in the regionals or the supers or even Omaha like Clemson has done the last couple of years. Baseball is not like other sports. One loss doesn't mean anything. Win game 3 today and all is ok.
