I’m offended by Sirrine Hall

The name Sirrine sounds just like the word Serene, which implies peace and calm. While getting my Finance degree, I found most of my time spent there very stressful and unpleasant.

I’m starting a petition to officially rename this building!

It's still going to be used, it just won't be the home of the College of Business.

I read it would be used as overflow space for other buildings on campus when they are being renovated.

I think I lived in Sirrine most of my college years when I wasn't at Lester's. I even worked in the basement one summer running an old jacquard and in Sirrine Library in the afternoons. I even did a little hand weaving in the attic!
