Such a shame his pro career ended before it ever started. Unlike Jesse Palmer, Pollack actually had a future in the NFL and would still be playing had he not injured his neck.

that they get that with FSU every year. For some reason they only hang that label on us though. It is pretty annoying. Even the coots get and early season love fest followed by a pass on their losses

Not that I'm okay with it, but I think we get that label (somewhat unjustly, somewhat earned) not so much that we lose, but we lose games we're supposed to win.
I don't think it would be called 'pulling a Clemson' if the team we lost to was ranked around us. It's the NC State losses that perpetuate that stigma.
That being said, I think we can get beyond it this and next year.
