I keep hearing Bentley is an elite QB that will take SCAR to new heights and will have them competing for championships. Please complete the following sentence for me and explain. Thanks!
Based on Bentley's performance against __________ (must pick a team that finished in the top 95 in yds/gm allowed) last season, I believe he is the future of the USC program and will lead us to championships.

Did you watch him play? If you did there really is no excuse to be arguing he's not a good QB.
You sound foolish arguing, "why didn't he block the opposing team's DL better to give himself more time to complete passes."

The crappiest college QBs in the country look great against air. Basically, every defense he played besides Clemson and Florida were slightly better than air, so it would be easy for him to look good. We know how bad he looked against those two good defenses. The concept of this question is really not that difficult to grasp.

So I ask you, do you think the lines are any different this year and do you expect the same results from a Bentley lead offense? Or do you expect more wins because Bently is such a good qb?

I expect us to continue being a bad football team.
But that doesn't change the fact Bentley is still a great QB on a bad team.

I watched saidnhe was good but not against good defenses but was a freshmen will have to see I don't like his trash talk we were clearly better 56-7 with starters out but 10 mins left in 3rd. Just keep his mouth shut and play ball I think he will be good in the east

To be fair you only had one QB that threw for 50 or more yards against OUR defense.
Hard to imagine you had QBs that would have done better against YOUR defense.

To be fair, one of those that didn't THROW for 50 yds did however have 1 more TD than Bentley in that game. Just saying.

We never did hear anything about that injury that took lil jake out of the Clemson game. Usually you get updates on how he's progressing. I mean is he expected to have any lingering problems from this injury, has the bleeding stopped or is it a month to month type of thing? HUH?

I'm a little tired of the talk too but he opened himself up by making those dumb comments " they weren't better than us at all" when we clearly were y'all lost Birmingham bowl we won the Naional title. He's just opening that mouth b4 he really does anything comes off arrogant but he's a good qb I'll give you that but he did trash against 2 defenses with pulse and he talks like he's done something, only thing that bothers me about him but I'm ready for talk to be over and season to start.
