Jack Leggett has 2 JUCOs on his roster this season...

I don't know where people get the idea Clemson doesn't sign JUCOs. Granted, Shane Kennedy went to North Florida before he went to a JUCO. Clemson isn't going to admit JUCO players in ANY sport that couldn't get in a D1 school out of HS.

they would. You comment like you have a source on the inside all of the time. JC transfers have not been a focus of our coaches normally because we have not desired a quick fix. Well if Brownell values his job he needs a JUCO and a quick fix.

credits will transfer. It does no good if a kid made a 3.0 in Juco if our admissions department says basket weaving doesn't transfer to any of our degree programs.
Not to generalize, or anything, but the baseball players must have been enrolled in a solid curriculum. Word is, we've created two new programs of study which make the transfer of credits easier.
Nevertheless, it seems to me if a kid was taking engineering courses in Juco, for example, those credits would transfer pretty easily even under the old rules. If he or she earned an associate's degree in culinary arts or cosmetology, however, that's not going to work.

I've always heard no JUCOs for basketball and it seems we've never had one.
But it seems to me Jack has had quiet a few on the baseball team over the years.
It seems that is a big part of baseball with all teams.

usually go to Junior College for a reason other than grades. In football and basketball, it's usually grade-related.
I read something a while back about Clemson getting rid of the ARC or whatever the committee was that generally turned down JUCOs and adding some more JUCO-friendly majors.
