I've been around a long time, and never remember either team managing to do that. So is this one more record that this team is going to own?

1934-40

To answer your question, 6 has technically been done twice - 1934-39 and 1935-1940 - both within the context of that seven streak. Neither team has ever had a win streak that ended at 6, and neither team has won 6 in a row since 1940. Prior to 2009-13, SCAR had never won 5 in a row.

Back when ties were allowed, SCAR went 6 years without a loss from 1949-54, and Clemson went 7 from 1913-19
