I think you're mistaken. He threw that Hail Mary against Miami in the Orange Bowl.

Rest assured, he threw that pass for BC> I think that was the same year he beat Clemson at Clemson, almost singlehandedly !

I don't understand why the Orange basketball team plays in a football dome when they have Madison Square Garden they could play in.

You’re thinking of Major Harris. Played for Syracuse in the late 80s. We beat them in the Gator Bowl.

Got nothing on Randall Cunningham

Flutie threw that ball 70 yards in the air. Would take me 3 throws to get a ball 70 yds***

I’m skeptical. What would Doug Flutie even be doing

in the air?

Video's prove nothing. Flute was an Orangemen and the best ever. He and Rony Seikaly were best friends. That is who he threw the Hail Mary to.

I'll never forget laying on our couch in Moncks Corner watching Flutie and his Orangemen knocking off Florida State on that last second Hail Mary .
It was such an impactful moment in my life that I wished I could go to a fine Catholic school like Syracuse and possibly study in the same halls and walk those same Buffalo streets as Donald Flutie did .

It is all about the 'Cuse and the Big Apple. So many distractions for the Orangemen. I mean big city, big lights, fast cars and fast women. Home of the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. I hope I can find parking at the Air Conditioner Dome. Maybe just take the Subway.
