aren't providing any traction. I have a brand new pair in the closet, I just haven't worn them, so they aren't field tested. Am I a genius if I give the new pair a try?

Boots are like a baseball glove. They need to be broken in. Rub some oil on them and then put them under your bedroom pillow for a couple of nights and they should be good to go. Wouldn’t hurt to spit in them a few times before you put your foot in them. Got it?
