Gasgrill.net question

My 14 year old Ducane has messed up again. This time it's the bad problem I had a few years ago where I will need to replace the main gas line, regulator, etc. Instead of spending $300+ to redo all that and the other stuff that's needed, thinking about getting a new grill.
Ok, so here's the deal. Want stainless. Want a large cooking surface. Wand an LP gas grill. BUT the key is I want a temperature range of about 225 to 550. I don't need to cook any hotter than 550 for steaks, and I actually cook a lot of "low and slow" stuff where I would LIKE a even temp with all burners on of around 225 or 250. As it stands, I have to use two of the 5 burners on my Ducane to get a low and slow burn, but then you lose 2/5 of the grill because you can't load it up and you get uneven cooking too when low and slow.
So....whatcha got that meets these requirements? Webbers seem to be around 350 when all burners are low.

Seem to have MUCH better temp control than older models. Plus the offer the iGrill bluetooth temp monitor. I haven't bought that yet, but seems like a cool idea...

mine's about 5 yrs old, still in great shape after a lot of use. You may be right on the min temp with all burners lit, but a lot of low 'n slow stuff will work with a burner or two off. Don't know anything about the current models. Speaking of stainless, I really like my non-stainless grill box (still stainless grates, flavorizer bars, burners, and side shelves). It's a lot easier to keep clean and purty than stainless.

I have had a few. I currently have a Weber that I can hold at 275 for indirect heat. Also means I give up 2/3rds of by grill.
Are we talking less than $1k?
Also, do you smoke meat? -McLovin Told me to ask that.

reviewed by COnsumer Reports - only $500 - good at everything but average sturdiness.
Monument Grills 77352 grill
For 2500 they recomend the Weber Summit E-670 - but the only category it beats the Monument in is sturdiness.
