These clowns are seriously discussing playing in the SEC Championship Game ??????

Someone should explain to them how you get to a championship game

Either they clearly don't know or they didn't watch that absolutely behind the woodshed beating goergia put on them two weeks ago.

They've got at a minimum 3 more losses coming .
5 more isn't unthinkable , as bad as they are looking defensively .

Yea... I smell something too, but it isn't a trap. That's a special kind of stupid they have going on down there.

Ray Tanner has already said they are going to try to add a game the Saturday of the seccg (in the event they don't make the seccg...)

He sees the writing on the wall.

Tanner plans on scheduling that make-up game because they will need it to be bowl eligible.
And that game will be cupcake city.

Pretty sure they have to pay Marshall either way

[2]

he probably doesn't want the loss of revenue from a home game either.

Marshall is more likely to be playing in the C-USA CCG than USuCk is to be playing in the SECCG.

Maybe the sec will say they can play that Sat if it's against the sec West runner up. Or maybe they can schedule the 3rd, 4th, or 5th place team and not look too bad on championship Sat.

Can you actually call a game against a team that’s beaten you 4 years in a row a trap game?

rational people call that a "circle this one on your

Just to hear them talk about running the table and having a shot at making the sec championship game, after seeing how bad they were against Georgia, just shows their level of delusion. They really are the gifts that keep on giving.

The only thing I hate is that Kentucky will give the the thumb before we do, but only because they get to curb-stomp them sooner.

Isn't TAMU also on a 4 game win streak over them ?
3 teams in the same year ... that'd be a record and there's really no need to look it up .

"(which I think we will be) should be capable of running the table and putting pressure on Georgia to do the same." what an idiot, if gawga "runs the table" they go to the sec championship due to them beating the coots.

Heck, they actually need Georgia to lose 2 games to get in over them.

Georgia will lose at least two games...

[2]

one during the regular season to either LSU or Auburn, and the SECCG against Bama effectively eliminating them for the college football playoffs.

The bad new for the DirtPecking WormPullers is they could be looking at three and possibly four more losses.

They don't know what an SEC championship is.. Someone tell them you have to win to get one to calm them down please.

For the poster who asked if these idiots "were serious," the answer is a resounding yes! They still actually believe, despite getting buried by UGa., that they can win the SEC East!! What utter stupidity! At this point I see Usuck losing to UK, TAMU, Ole Miss, Clemson and potentially Mizzou. Lose to Vandy and all bets are off in terms of having a winning season in Cola. The chickens have no running game and a suspect defense so I don't expect good results long term.

The few fans who understand the nature of the situation are eagerly awaiting next year's frosh to save the day. Otherwise they have already begun writing this season off as a likely losing cause. I could see Usuck beating Marshall, UTC, UT, and UF, but they have to remain healthy to be able to compete and I don't see that happening due to a lack of depth.

Go Tigers!

Coot U and Championship game in the same sentence is funny enough.
That is a special kind of stupid over there

They have a weaker $EC West schedule than UGA.

They have that going for them.

I think the poster was referring to trapping Kentucky, not the other way around.

They aren't entirely wrong

When Bama or thUGA wins the SEC, in their chicken minds, they too have won the SEC by association. So I can see where they are going with this. ;)

I can see it now, USuC baseball caps with "Roll tide" on one side of the bill, and "Go Dawgs" on the other.

When USCe actually plays Bama here next season they will find out what it takes to compete with what Clemson has played the last several seasons with everything on the line. Personally I hope Saban and company run the chickens out of WBS by half time and keep punishing them until the final second. It gets old hearing the chicken comments about the "Sorry Excuse Conference" being superior to all else, but the GC fans think they belong! Muscrap is about to be reminded of how Bama, Auburn and LSU play compared to Vandy and the SECe.

Go Tigers!

Re: They aren't entirely wrong

I just looked at their future schedules. They only play the SEC big kids ( Bama, Auburn, or LSU ) one at a time some seasons in the scheduled future. They'll never impress me until they play any two of those in the same season and at least make a good effort. That will never happen unless they go to the SEC Championship and I don't see it happening.
