Spur's raise to $4M is worth it, what with 100 yrs of losing

football games..0-21 during Holtz..just 1 Conference Championship Trophy (ACC at that)..just 1 SEC EAST Trophy, but huge beating in championship game..messing up the lives of 2 NC HC's (Dietzel & Holtz)..helping kill another thru stress (Morrison)..no BCS games..helping Outback Bowl thrive.
OK, I'll admit they've won 5 straight from my beloved Tigers..had 3 straight 11 win seasons..beat Bama..got into a strong football conference..had Cocky win #1 as the best mascot..have largest collection of neatly decorated railroad train cabooses in the Nation around a stadium..and only school I know who runs out between dry ice smoke to great tune 2001, and keeps Wal-Mart & China in business with garnet/black clothing purchases when any of the SEC Teams win.
So, there you have it...$4,000,000 worth of success per year for the Ole Ball Coach who's 68 and needs it for that retirement village coming up very soon!

the last three years with a final ranking of #4 is worth a raise. Not to mention beating 6 teams that won bowl games and 3 teams that finished in the top 10.

As much as we hate that team/school. Spurrier has delivered. In the long run, I do believe that Clemson will be better for it, as our admin is forced to not pussyfoot around anymore.
