Some people drive 20 year old cars and live in modest houses and spend their money other ways.
It's not impossible to have that kind of cash on hand to spend for something as big as the Clemson vs. Georgia game if you live modestly, even on a menial salary. Especially if you value experiences over possessions.

they stood-out like a couple of $2.00 Hollywood Boulevard prostitutes on a Friday night.
I was at a Calhoun Honors College dinner this past Friday night. One of the parents sitting at my table was wearing an $CU shirt. Another curious parent at the table asked him about his choice of apparel considering the occasion.
His response was, "While I am a Gamecock fan, you would have to be a colossal fool to even remotely attempt to compare South Carolina to Clemson academically. If you want your child to get the best possible education in this state, Clemson is best choice by leaps and bounds."

I've got two in the lower deck, about the 20 yard line. If you know anyone dumb enough to pay me $1500 a piece, i will sit at the tailgate and watch it on TV.

Coming through with tickets for a client to a game like Clemson-UGA can close a deal.
Some sales people have huge expense accounts to attract and entertain clients.
Some company wants to get my cousin as a client. He called me and said they offered him 4 $500 tickets to a UFC event, limo service from his house, and dinner and drinks.
It is scary.

That's not too bad I sent a note to the thug accused with the damage to "The Rock" Dad since he was looking for 2 tickets on T-Net told him I would sell 2 of my Tiger Den Tickets for $20,000 each that would include a ride to and from game (with-in 20 miles of DV), everything needed for tailgating and 2 "Touch The Rock" t-shirts
