wonder why Florida-Idaho cancelled their game?

seems like they could have played today. Not like the stadium is being used by somebody else. Is it that complicated to try again today - I know the security, concessions, traffic control etc would be an issue, but the crowd would obviously be down tremendously.

For all the money invested, you'd think that would be a better option.

I sure hope if that ever happens to Clemson, they would opt for playing the next day instead of just outright giving up on it.

All of the problems you list are issues bigger than you could imagine. Add in the fact that more importanly, the team is suddenly a day behind in their preparation for another game. If it were a conference game, no doubt, rescheduling would be in the cards, but not for this yen of warmup game.

I think I heard that both teams also have an OPEN date at the same time so they may play the game then.

But I doubt at that point it would be worth it for Florida to waste that week prepping for Idaho when they could be getting players rested and healthy, etc and prepping for a tougher in conference opponent.
