miami is a huge city tons of people live there.the weather isnt cold down there.says the temp right now is 73 per the national weather service web site.not raining or anything.and their record they arent pure awful like lets say wake is this year.always baffles me how a place like that cant even put 30k in the stands for a prime time game.

It's a pro football town. Like Boston.

I dont understand it either. It was a pro city in the 80s and 90s too and they packed the stadium then. Its not like theyre god awful. I think if they built a little smaller stadium next to there campus they would get more attendance

Pro town as others mentioned. It also hurts having the stadium so far from campus. Generally the south Florida fans are fair weather. I've lived in ft Lauderdale for 10 years and have been to 10 or so games here. More than i can say for most of the locals. It's also a largely transit area. Lots of people from other places.

Combination of factors, I think. Other TNetters have given

valid reasons; I think the stink raised by the NCAA has something to do with it in addition to their season. Maybe though, too many U fans are spending their time and $$$ at South Beach drinking, partying and, of course, watching the wimmins! lol
