where does Bama find these running backs?!?!?

I know they don't fit our system, but who cares!!!! we need to get an elite running back. ETN and feaster are good, but Im talking about a Dalvin Cook, or Bo Scarborough, Derrick Henry, or Leonard Fournette. I have no problem running the ball 80% of the time.

Cook was freaky good, running behind a so-so FSPU line. Scarface does not seem the same this year. Looks gun shy to me. Perhaps last year's injury took something out of him. Henry was playing behind an awesome 'Bama line. And Forget was good until he played 'Bama. Then, he and all of us would forget. Generally, runners are only as good as the hogs in front of them.

after they see how they perform. It's an easy formula if you treat players like rubbers. Use them once then flush them down the toilet.

The moment I lost hope in the game was the 4th and 1 where Damien Harris just jumped over the the entire offensive and defensive lines... I agree with you, ETN and feaster are strong backs, but those Bama dudes must eating their veggies

Offensive lines could have a lot to do with it.

It really is just the Offensive lines. Clemson's back would be better if they could run through the holes that Bama's back see. ETN and Feaster have something none of those really have. They find that hole and they go the distance. Remember ETN hasn't been through the weight training yet either so he's going to put on some muscle and be able to push over a lot of people. Go Tigers.

Agree with you bloodrunsorange - the O-lines make far more difference than the RBs themselves. Check out Bama RB’s on Sundays and you’ll see a lot of underachievers relative to how they played in college. Ingram has been fine, but T Richardson was a complete bust, Lacy can’t stop eating cheeseburgers, Yeldon has done nothing, and Henry is rapidly approaching bust territory.
I take Feaster and Etienne over any of Bama’s backs they have right now. Both still have a much higher ceiling than Harris or Scarbrough, the latter of which will be Lacy/Henry/Cheeseburglar 3.0

They are average backs with exceptional O-Lines. Put ETN in Bama's backfield and he what he can do. Hell, Choice would be an all american.

It will be interesting to see how our backs do when and if TL starts. Even with a average OL it will be harder to dare him to beat you passing. Draw plays to ETN or ? could be interesting.

Hardly. Our RBs are were some of the best coming out of high school. Our OL has been somewhat of a week link this year too.

I can't imagine what ETN's numbers would have been running behind Bama's OL. It is definitely great OL play that pads those stats some, but the backs they have are bruisers.

The. Harding RB from Charlotte is built like Scarborough and Henry. Already 6-2” and 230
We are in his top 5, but he likes Bama and S.C. from what I read. Top RB in country
