That will be a good spot. Although i don't like taking down the trees that make the campus so beautiful at least its in a rather unusable spot for anything else and it doesn't take up football parking.

you can't take this seriously, because it is on some fan website.
While the Athl Dept would LIKE to build a new arena, this is far from settled, esp. with the BOT.

I can understand updating the player's facilities for recruiting purposes, and of course shiny new toys/buildings are always fun to have, but when I went to games as a student (2007-2012) I always had a great time and didn't notice any issues with LJ

Not sure why, but they always sound tinny and awful every time I've gone to one at LJ. Most recently, that Band of Horses concert didn't do justice to what they sound like in a better venue.
I thought it fills the purpose of a basketball arena just fine, though. Not really a bad seat in the house and plenty loud when we feel like making noise.

problem w/ new basketball arena is that the basketball program can't sustain the debt.... football will have to be a cosigner and it will probably bleed football of more of their revenues. Plans for the Oculus are being sent to Mayflower in Greenville for long term storage.
