Those are the division 1 schools without a national championship in ANY sport at any level.
Quinnipiac is the #1 seed in the frozen four of hockey and could add their first title.

Miss State was runner up in baseball a couple years ago and were #1 in football last year for a while.
Ole Miss was #2 in men's tennis entering the tournament in 2009 but lost in the quarterfinals.
Kansas State was very close to a football title in 1998 but choked vs A&M
Virginia Tech was runner up in football in 1999 with Michael Vick and their wrestling team finished top 5 this year and may be close to a title if they can overcome the Penn State behemoth.
