Yeah, funny how the quality of your offensive line has such an impact.

I don't think most casual fans understand how much the O-line makes a difference to all QB's. A prime example, the South Carolina, fans going crazy over Hilsinki when he started his first game against Charleston Southern. What were their cries, thank God Bentley is out we now have a QB that we can win with, we are going on a winning streak! Well, they found out in a hurry that Hilsinki was actually probably not as good as Bentley, and that their 'new savior" couldn't throw as well as the QB they had come to hate. How has Hilsinki looked against teams with a good defense who could pressure him? What happened, VERY SIMPLE, O-line, USC's can't protect anyone. Trevor is a great QB, DW#4 was a great QB, Joe Namath was a great QB, BUT none of these guys can throw without a little time to scan the field, get set or lying on their backsides . It's a known fact that Clemson's big turn around with Dabo has one big difference from many of our teams in the past, the O-line. The speed guys and the QB and the running backs get all the press, but without great offensive linemen to give the QB just enough time to find his receiver and get the pass off they are not going to look good or have good stats. KB, as did Feaster, got bad information when picking a team for the so called "transfer portal". Anyone can logically see their position on the Clemson depth chart and see why, even if it were a bad decision, they would choose to leave. But both chose to go to a school where they didn't have a chance to improve their worth as an NFL prospect, because neither team they went to had much of a O-line. I think that's what happened to KB......
