So you are ok with the second half you just saw. I know a choke job when I see it. We were lazy sloppy played not to lose all aspects of a choke.

I know, I know, a crazy thought. They did play better than we did in the second half, but maybe it's because they have a good coach and good players as well.

we were up by twelve. I don't agree with OP, but we DID squander a 12 point lead, and once it got to five points, our guys should have stepped their game up. They got out-hustled plain and simple, maybe even complacent.

I just don't act like a whiny 2 year old when we don't. 2 evenly matched teams played an evenly matched game, and one team made 1 more play than the other team. That is how sports work sometimes. Sometimes, both teams play well, but one team has to win. It doesn't mean the other team is terrible.

Its not one more play when you are up 12 at half. Then come out and play like we did. Its funny how when people comment on how we choked the 2nd half everyone thinks you think our whole season sucked.

I think we got beat. I've seen teams choke an entire half away, they usually don't lose by 4.

but those teams aren't up by 12 at half either. Im not saying we didn't have a great season it just looked like we were a deer in the headlights in the second.

We started missing the exact same shots we were hitting in the first half, and they took advantage. Choke implies that we gave them the game. In this instance, I think SMU took the game.

It wasn't embarrassing it was a young team that choked that is all. to me when our players saw they could win they played not to lose and that always cost you the game.
