You don't know your ### from a hole in the ground.
Will Spiers in the 32nd ranked punter by net yards per kick - which is the stat that matters.
The # 1 guy in the country (Kentucky) averages 5 more yards per punt. That is something but it ain't much

That would be true if it weren't ########. The #1 punter in the country is Max Duffy from Kentucky, who averages 48.6 yards per punt. Will Spiers averaged 42.5 yards per punt, making him the #64 punter in net yards. And 6 yards on average is huge. That almost forces an offense to get one more first down every drive. That's enormous.

He won't win the "hang-time" award, nor the longest average award . . . He will average 40 yards per kick with little to no return yardage given up . . . He is consistent in kicking it inside their 20 yard line . . . He was a high school QB and throws a good ball should a fake punt be needed . . .
There is a reason he is still our punter and Swanson isn't . . . Will just needs to hold his seasonal average tonight and we'll be fine!!!
