that's my favorite away uni by a mile and i wish the purple jerseys/orange pants were our every home game uni, actually. We ain't orange and white and we sure ain't orange and navy. I like any combo that shoves orange and purple down everyone's throat. This ain't a fashion show, it ain't about what is ugly, this is about orange and purple IS Clemson, which happens to be ONLY Clemson. Uniforms don't win games but they sure do fire up 18 - 22 year olds and they should be your school's colors. Talk to any old timer from the '50's and '60's and most hated the move to orange and white, actually because orange and purple IS Clemson to those folks....too many of us think tradition started in the '70's. Tell Frank that purple is soft and see how he feels about it when his teams had purple jerseys with orange numbers and orange jerseys with purple numbers and white jerseys with orange and purple stripes. This discussion is so irritating to me but i'll get flamed for worrying about colors as usual. What irritates me more is Clemson fans who want to look like all the orange and white and orange and blue teams in the nation but then we want to claim uniqueness.

ever since we first wore those: that should be our away uniform every single game. I see that and I see Clemson and not a single other school in the nation, period.

Not saying we have to go wild every game... we should wear Orange/White at home and White/WHite on the road for the vast majority... but I do miss coming into Death Valley and seeing the team wearing the purple jerseys or the orange pants for a big game.

were the ones in the early to mid 2000's when we got rid of the ridiculous navy blue, put purple trim on the uniforms, the Paws were still on the shoulders and the pants had purple stripes on them along with orange. Those were the Clemson "whites" that were the best to me. I'm not a fashionista, and i know that unis don't win games, but our all whites now are drab to me and i know the players cannot be a fan of them. We're dealing with young kids playing a man's game and if you don't think unis are big to them you're kidding yourself.

which IMO is the best uniform combination we have.
You, apparently, like the gaudy/trashy uniforms like Oregon wears.
I like to see our players looking like they have class instead of looking like a bunch of clowns.

After the disaster on Saturday I look for a change from Dabo. Clemson needs more than just a win on Saturday in College Park. Statement game for the Tigers. I am anxious to see who steps up. IF Clemson is the team that we think they are, this will be the best performance of the year.

heck the way we played against Fsu are we all sure we weren't wearing PINK, it doesn't matter we just have to play like we can, however I would like to see the orange pants again, I think ever since we got whipped by WV, he quit wearing the orange pants, I guess he has to go back to the god ugly purple.
