In all the years I have been watching college football I have seen no evidence that an open date is a huge advantage. The better team usually wins open date or not. Let's just hope we ARE the better team.

I don't think having 2 weeks to prepare can hurt.

The fact ( s ) that FSU:

- don't play a competitive team other than Maryland (home) before us

- have that extended stretch of no opponent

- have a Frosh QB who will walk into a hugely hostile environment for the first time

Kind of alludes to good things for CU - especially if O and D just go about their business as we all know they can do.

FCS teams before out of conference rivalry games for years. Do you really think SC was practicing for Wofford last year? Did you see that game?

offenses like GT's. We wil have a glorified scrimmage against BC and have no problem. Winston is good so far, but he will come in untested. Once the crown burst his eardrums, he will spin out of control. Even Manziele had his bad games with LSU and UF. Remember, we have noise that even suprised Murray

Clemson Football, the glory days are here!

Winston might be good....so what

Sep 9, 2013, 10:56 PM

Ponder was good.
Manuel was good.

We're gonna bust the Winston A$$.
