years ago I was a strength and conditioning trainer at Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Fla. They held World Team Tennis matches on campus. Nearby was Sarasota where Vitale lives. Being a huge tennis fan he attended the matches.
I doubled as a security guard for WTT matches and had to escort the opposing teams "big name" player around. On this particular day Martina Navratilova and her team was in town.
During warm ups I heard a loud commotion coming from behind me and its unmistakebly #### Vitale. "Oh Mahtina Oh I love you Mahtina Youah owsome bayybee!". Now he is sitting literally 5 feet behind us. I am thinking "I thought that was an act!?" I had a pair of Oakley M frames on and I am cutting my eyes at her wondering what she thinks. She was rolling her eyes and shaking her head. After about 2 minutes of it she leans over to me and says "what a f##c## a##h#le". I laughed and nodded.

How come he is not Dickie H ( for HEAD )--He sure acts like it most of the time. And I am truly amazed that he is "highly regarded" by folks in basketball--he is an an obnoxious clown who usually irritates any and everyone!
