didn't stop at a 'T' intersection at an elevated roadway, hit the guardrail at speed, was ejected off of the bike, and then fell down between (and possibly through) the protective fencing and guardrail.

make the light, and just overcooked it. I was looking for some front end dive to indicate hard braking, but then I saw the extended swingarm on the back of the bike and that makes for a bike that is reluctant to turn well in normal situations, much less panic braking. (Additionally, extended wheelbase bike riders are some of the worst skilled on the road, IMHO)

If so, my apologies for assuming he modified his swingarm....it was nothing so severe...he was just a bad rider.
Did look like an older model GSXR though, so if he'd never serviced his braking system.........

He wasn't texting, seemed to be in proper driving/steering form, no bodily distress, no visible cycle damage or impairment, no swerve to miss an animal or another vehicle.
He just drove straight off the side of a bridge.

Motorcycles are permitted by federal law to use HOV lanes, even with only one passenger. The rationale behind allowing motorcycles to use HOV lanes is that it is safer to keep two-wheeled vehicles moving than to have them travel in start-and-stop traffic conditions.
I guess the safety part didn't work
