by a top 30 class this year. They should easily have a top 20 team based on talent recruited.

many of the teams against whom they compete including Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Clemson have all simply recruited better. Those team all are better coached and have more talent.

didn't make it into school in Feb? How many that made it into school didn't pass the first year ?The only highly rated athletes that will come there, that haven't been born here or didn't have parents that went there, so they have to go with the borderline kids.
Look at their best recruit in this year's class. A 4 star DT out of ALABAMA that DIDN'T have an offer with Bama or Auburn. Rad Flag ??? Smart didn't even extend a UGA offer. Either he's getting The Clowney learning disability scholarship or he's headed to JC and MIGHT see the field in 2018.

Actually....

it shows that recruiting rankings are meaningless until three or four years down the road after it becomes more apparent if the recruits actually enrolled, stayed in school, or made any significant contribution to the success of the team. In $CU's case, it now appears those rankings were grossly over-inflated and you're seeing the results of it on the field.

No it just shows that the teams around you that you play every year are recruiting a whole lot better.
The facts prove that recruiting rankings matter.
You claim you have all this money and great exposure from your conference but you've consistently been whipped on the recruiting trail by that little ol' ACC school from the upstate.....
What gives?

Dabo is one of the best recruiters in the country. There is no doubt about that. He showed us it's better to be able to recruit the Jimmy and Joes instead of being an expert at the Xs and Os.
We've finally hired a young coach that can recruit instead of an older coach. Hopefully that helps us on the recruiting trail.

The problem is there are 7+ teams on their schedule that are better. That translates into more losses than the top 20 will allow. That is not likely to change in the near future and makes it hard to climb.

We might end up 5-7 next year biggie. But we are in a complete rebuilding mode.
The goal is to be better four years from now. The goal isn't to be 10 wins overnight.

Nochamp was the only one that would take that job. I could say (dumb enough) but then I'd be captain obvious. He won't survive there long. Spurrier made that job a nightmare. It will take another old washed up hall of famer wanting a membership to Augusta national to have success. They are in For many years of hard rain. Bring your umbrella's coots !!! GO TIGERS !!!

foreseeable future. Augusta National President Hootie Johnson ( big time Coot ) retired right after getting OBS his membership. Johnson's replacement is a UGA ulum.

I've never heard of Payne doing for potential UGA coaches what Johnson did for U of Sucking Coot coaches. Maybe he has some class.

You guys should certainly win this year so that will put you at 3 in a row.
2017 could be up for grabs as you'll be replacing Deshaun Watson.

If Scar possibly being less than a 2 TD underdog is "up for grabs" then yea I guess ....
You idiots are banking on DW leaving translating into wins for you but you're ignoring all the talent we are bringing in especially in the trenches.
The gap in talent you see growing in front of your eyes is going to have a residual effect for the next decade.....
Hell we might win 10 in a row.....

No. He's not the only player you have but the kid is one or the best you've ever had.
I think we both know you're not the same team this year without him.

he's certainly not the only one. Even without DW4, Clemson will still be better than $CU at literally every position on the field for the foreseeable future.

I think USuC made a mistake hiring Muschamp. He's going to be living in the shadow of Spurrier and will also have many tough years ahead of him trying to win. If I were a USuC booster, I'd have wanted a young relative unknown (Like dabo) and given them a chance to rebuild. That way when they lose, it can be attributed to a young coach who's trying to accomplish something. As it stands now, if the coots don't have a winning season by 2018, they are gonna be firing muschamp.

What makes you think a young unknown would have been better than muschamp?
Muschamp is much safer than any unknown candidate. With muschamp we at least know he will be able to build a solid defense. He's done that everywhere he's been.

Everywhere he's been has been Texas , UF and Auburn .
*Shocker Alert * USuC is nothing like those three . Muschamp was a last resort ...and for good reason . That last statement will bear itself out inside of 3 years .
