And that is the problem. Many seem to be satisfied that Brownell may, and I say may with great hesitation, turn things around, and are satisfied with another exciting NIT bid that includes a couple of home games against equally pathetic programs that provide a stirring wins and yet more hope for the future. Bottom line is that Brownell inherited an NCAA program. It hardly even comes close to that these days. Time for a change.
