He played in the game last week after he was injured so he was fine last week. Did something happen during the week?

I think it would be more out of a conservative approach to make sure he's 100% since we are only playing UNCC. However I hadn't heard anything on it

Having had my head and neck knocked to the side by hardhat collisions with overhead obstacles in a chemical plant, I can tell you that the results of that sometimes take a couple days to show up. He took a pretty violent knee to the side of the helmet, so it would not surprise me at all if his neck were not jammed in some fashion from it.

Hardhats are worn for safety reasons, but they should be made to come with collision alarms. :)
