That is a toal CROCK! They wouldn't make half that much more in the SEC in 6 years, much less the Bog 10.

More of these fantasy numbers

Regardless UMD will still play crappy football in an empty stadium like they have for most of their history. This is nothing but a money grab from them because of the mismanagement in their AD over the past few years that led to their poor financial situation.

Does it really matter if it's $50M, $75M or $100M?

The fact is that any school leaving the ACC for the SEC, Big 12 or Big Ten will make substantially more money. Period. The media rights revenue is much greater and the playoff shares collected by these conferences will outpace the ACC. The ACC is lowest on the totem pole in terms of revenue and football prestige.
Look at it this way - does it not speak volumes that the ACC's champ is slated to play the SEC No.2 or Big Ten No. 2 in the Orange, while the No. 1s from the SEC, Big 12, Big Ten, and Pac-12 are facing each other?

creating football revenue then what is that you can do? Besides get out? But do you benefit more from be in teh top 15 every year? thats the question. If we go undefeated then we're in the top 8 at least. Do we bring in any additional money for us that way or do we robbed in the bowl share? that I don't remember

You can't do anything except wait for an invite and take it.

As a Clemson fan/alum, I am very concerned about the precedent that this sets. Don't think for a second that FSU - the only other school with the wisdom and foresight to vote against the buyout increase - won't track the legal showdown between Maryland and the ACC very closely. There is simply no doubt in my mind that FSU will not accept Florida and others receiving millions more in media/BCS playoff every year. I just hope that when FSU does make a move that we'll be along for the ride.

Promises of Notre Dame to our BOT now seem just that

total crap. Swofford visiting our campus in the Summer and acting like the Ice Cream Man for the ACC brand. We bought the ND football bar hook, line, and sinker but when we opened it up all that was in there was 2 wooden sticks. ND has melted away and we had lost our leverage. Sickens me.
