Need help with wedding and Clemson Football!!!!!

Hey fellow Tigers,

I'm getting married this Sunday in upstate NY. My fiance and I are huge Clemson fans and really want to set up a satellite at the location we are staying (no T.V. service on the island) to watch gameday and the game on Saturday. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to setup the direct tv system that a family friend let me borrow. Do any of you use a similar system and have any ideas for how I can do this? I already have the T.V., dish, and the corresponding direct tv box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok kidding, maybe we're past that.

I think as long as the reciever is set to the region you should be able to use the signal strength function to fine tune the direction and elevation so that you have optimal signal.

there should be some general direction as to where to point the dish. Then the signal strength function beeps as you gain signal while you adjust the direction and elevation of the dish.

20-30 minutes tops and you are in business.
