Thanks for the update but I didn't think we had a shot and quite frankly didn't care. He's not the first high profile recruit to pass us up. We're still the defending champs and look to remain among the elite for the foreseeable future without him.

His "playing early" reasoning doesn't make a lot of sense. He would have had a good chance at early playing time at any of the schools he listed as finalists.

In all his pics from visits, he never really looked that interested or happy to begin with. His facial expressions were always the same. It is what it is, we're fine at RB for now. I'm sure we'll be in the running for a top RB next year too. Snagging Travis Etienne at the end of last years recruiting cycle was huge for us.

It is amusing how Dawg fans can drone on and on and on about their program and 'place' on the podium of big time football and yet....yet....GaTech and Clemson have won titles since they last did. I'll place odds that Clemson will play for a Natty again, before the Dawgs will. Heck, that puts them in the same elite place as the Coots. A shared outhouse! Who'd a thunk it!?!

Georgia can sign all the 5 star backs they want, how many championships has that gotten y'all? Oh that's right, not a single freaking one. Gamecock fans accuse everyone of buying recruits so I wish Clemson fans wouldn't do that. The kid picked Georgia and there is nothing wrong with that. Georgia has a history of getting those top notch backs. I don't know how they do it because they sure don't win a darn thing with them but Georgia is not my concern. I do think its funny a Bulldog fan comes on here trying to talk trash about getting another North Carolina RB when Clemson came in to Georgia's front yard and got one national title winning QB and another top QB that evaluators have claimed is the best prospect in a decade or so. This isn't the first time Clemson lost out on a recruit and it won't be the last but on the same tokan the same can be said about Georgia. So while a Bulldog comes on the Clemson site to gloat just remember that he has to kneel down at the feet of the champ. So Georgia fan kiss the ring. Oh and if you ever want to know what winning the College Playoff feels like just stop on by the football ops and take you a pisture with the trophy.
