Two freshmen starting that’s a little bit surprising

i wonder if Khavon will get any playing time because they might not know whether or not he’s eligible. It’s also noteworthy that there’s no real starting center in that lineup.

We’ve badly clanked the outside shots so far

We are way more athletic than AU though so this shouldn’t be an issue

54-31 Hunter Tyson one of the bright spots from 3. Has two of them. Nice pass from Moore.

59-36 Tigers. Tyson has three 3s. Simms has a double-double 14 and 10. Scott has 14, Mack with 13.

some quick 1st half observations
Oct 30, 2019, 8:22 PM
|
|
watched the 1st half, but had to get home to pack for travel tomorrow
both the freshman guards look competent and comfortable with the ball. both have nice looking 'camp' shots, though they both bricked a few
Jemison looks a lot better than he did last year. moving much better. hit a nice smooth hook shot from middle of the lane
K Moore looked a little out of sync but appears to be a good athlete
C Scott is going to be a solid player
T Mack is going to be an aggressive scorer
Newman looked like he was tight, for lack of a better way to describe it
Tigers took (too?) many 3's even though they had a size advantage at nearly every position on the court
Simms looked good for the most part; he did not look good on his 3's

Thanks. To be fair Simms only took two 3s. Much more aggressive from inside the arc which we saw in Europe. He had 16 and 10 tonight in only 23 mins.
