so Lunge, what IS the correct tip on $1800 worth of pizzas?

Apr 8, 2019, 8:56 AM

any idiot (w/the exception of USC football staff) knows $5 isn't enough, but 15% ($268) seems a bit much for a pizza delivery.

What a bunch of stooges that place has.

I would say that if you're a huge group like a college fball

Apr 8, 2019, 9:00 AM

program, that lives and dies by public image, you tip $500 and hope that it gets shared on the internet like this one did. I guarantee Dabo would do something like that... not because he's a good guy, but because he's very conscious of managing their image.

***btw, I think he IS a good guy, but also is a marketing/image genius

S??? ????? ???? ??? ??????? ?????? ???? ??? ??????,
S??? ????? ?? ?? ???????? ???? ? ??????? ??? ????? ?????..

This is exactly where I notice total incompetence.

Apr 8, 2019, 10:15 AM

It's an easy way for good publicity without even thinking about it. They can't even get that much right... lol...

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

GO TIGERS!!

Could have at least rounded up the total bill to $2000

Apr 8, 2019, 9:05 AM

$20 to each driver minimum? Maybe throw in season tix in the zone, a cockaboose for a year, and selfies with the team?

I hate the chickens as much as the next Tiger,

Apr 8, 2019, 9:08 AM

but this can't be real right? In this social media age, not even dirt peckers could be this stupid.

I really need to lower my expectations.

Apr 8, 2019, 9:12 AM

The golden age of Tiger football has made me soft.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The best part of that was coots arguing across the internet

Apr 8, 2019, 9:08 AM

Saturday night how that was a fake and something perpetrated by Clemson fans, only to wake up Sunday morning and the first headline I read was Ray Tanner Says YESWEARETHATFUCKINGSTUPID.

ringofhonor-rhtig.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree that was great. I even didn’t think it was true.

Apr 8, 2019, 10:47 AM

Since the receipt didn’t actually show details to confirm. Also could not believe that anyone would tip $5 on 2k. I mean a $100 tip and no one says a word, but as stated above, a $500 tip and this would have been a positive media story for the program and all their SEC money.... they are such Dumb arrrseeesss

To determine the correct amount, I need to know just how

Apr 8, 2019, 9:19 AM

long the two drivers had to be at this place. If it jacked up their whole shift, then more than $100 per would be correct. If they were there for 45 minutes to an hour, maybe toss them $40 or $50 a piece and call it a day.

Source, I was a pizza guy for a long time.

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-aero.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They prob started their shift early to make the order

Apr 8, 2019, 9:21 AM

Huge orders like that have to be placed at least 1-2 days in advance. The drivers should have been tipped minimum 25-30 each tho

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

the dude(s) that made/cooked 200 pizzas deserved the tip

Apr 8, 2019, 9:29 AM [ in reply to To determine the correct amount, I need to know just how ]

IMO.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

True butt

Apr 8, 2019, 9:33 AM

The tip is essentially a cover for wear/tear on the drivers vehicle. When I worked at a pizza joint in high school that's the way it was--Kitchen staff never gets the tip.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Circa 2011-2016 we had in house tips too.

Apr 8, 2019, 9:41 AM

Whatever was tipped on carry out orders went into a pool for the insiders. You got a portion of that based off the house/days you worked.

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-aero.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This is also correct.

Apr 8, 2019, 9:38 AM [ in reply to the dude(s) that made/cooked 200 pizzas deserved the tip ]

How this should have gone down is it be paid for in house before hand and the tip split among those that worked it. This is how it went the place I worked for catered stuff for C of C. Of course, the owner was also on hand the whole time.

Minimum $200, Good $350, Generous $500***

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

In all honesty, I would have thought that coot drivers

Apr 8, 2019, 12:18 PM

delivering pizza to coot players would have opened some kind of Satanic vortex in Columbia.

ringofhonor-rhtig.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That tip is embarrassing to me.

Apr 8, 2019, 12:38 PM

Even though I have no love for USuCk I would have thrown in a 20 spot for the delivery girls if for nothing else but mercy.
