About the "afterlife"....

Nov 12, 2020, 9:01 AM

Life force is a form of ENERGY... can't be created or destroyed by man, just converted from one form to another.
Our bodies are vessels (jars of clay) for the ENERGY (Life force) within.
The vessels (our bodies) decay and fail at a predictable rate.
The ENERGY (Life force) continues on in a newly converted form.

But do we know it later?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This is THE REAL QUESTION

Nov 12, 2020, 9:58 AM

Will your CONSCIOUSNESS (soul) stay attached to your ENERGY (Life force) or become detached (2nd death) at the expiration (1st death) of your body (vessel)?

wut?

Nov 12, 2020, 10:03 AM

The millivolts it takes to power your brain are converted to heat and escape into the ether when you die. Just like the light from a light bulb when it's turned off.

I guess its nice to think that for some reason "you" would continue on in some manner after your body dies off, but its also nice to think I'll win the Powerball on Saturday.

Neither of which will happen, BTW.

In the afterlife you could be headed for the serious strife

Nov 12, 2020, 9:20 AM

Now you make the scene all day, but tomorrow there'll be #### to pay

Absolutely correct, as far as it goes. Dust to dust.

Nov 12, 2020, 9:43 AM

But that dust feeds the trees that gives us oxygen that keeps us alive, that nourishes the soil that gives us food, the food that feeds the animals we eat.

In this way, reincarnation is true.

It is why APM will either be cremated or buried in a biodegradable coffin.

Maybe when you are cremated you don't feed the environment properly? Maybe decomposing is better?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes, I believe this is correct. But no perfect solution,

Nov 12, 2020, 10:51 AM

since we don't just let bodies decompose in the open.
