D@mn that an adult has less maturity than a kid. I actually think this kid has a good heart and mind. He posted that he was really torn and was up all night crying about what school to pick. To make that choice, have your mom walk out, and still have the poise to say "I had to go with my heart, not my mom" does say something about his maturity.
I'll wish him well at Florida!!

To me that was a very heartbreaking experience for that young man. It appears that as she is getting her stuff together she is mumbling or saying things to him. That had to be so embarrassing and humiliating for him. I hope his father is in the picture and can sign his LOI. If not he can emancipate from his mother if he wants to take it to court. Was the man in the blue shirt that came down to support him his father. Feel really bad for this kid

Anyone know who the man was that sat down beside him to comfort him? At least 1 adult was mature in that situation.

I can't find it online to post, but the Clemmons NC paper had a very nice picture of KJ Henry sitting between his two smiling parents just before he gave the hat to his assistant coach. THAT is how parents are supposed to act on signing day!
